1. About Corevia

Corevia is an educational technology platform created and operated by:

  • Nkemdi Ijoma
  • Jamal Muhammed
  • Okemsinachi Ikeyi Celsus
  • Sean Obetta

Throughout these Terms, “Corevia,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Corevia and its creators and operators.

Corevia provides educational tools intended to help students prepare for examinations through practice questions, past papers, educational materials, an AI Tutor, performance analytics, personalised practice, learning-progress tools, and related features.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Corevia, including the website, accounts, educational content, AI Tutor, analytics, practice systems, and any future Corevia services.

By accessing or using Corevia, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Corevia.

2. Educational Purpose

Corevia is an educational support platform.

Our services are designed to assist students with studying, revision, practice, and understanding academic material.

Corevia does not guarantee:

  • a particular examination score;
  • admission to a school or university;
  • improvement in academic performance;
  • accuracy of every answer or explanation;
  • that every question, explanation, prediction, recommendation, or AI-generated response will be correct.

Students remain responsible for their own academic work, decisions, examination preparation, and verification of important information.

3. Eligibility and Students Under 18

Corevia may be used by students, including students under the age of 18.

If you are under 18, you should use Corevia with the involvement of a parent, guardian, school, or other responsible adult where appropriate or required by applicable law.

Parents and guardians are responsible for helping minors under their care understand these Terms and supervising their use of online educational services where appropriate.

Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for the processing of a minor's personal data, Corevia will take appropriate steps to obtain or verify that consent.

4. Accounts

Some Corevia features may require an account.

When creating an account, you agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and not deliberately misleading.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login information secure;
  • not sharing your password with unauthorised individuals;
  • notifying Corevia if you believe your account has been compromised;
  • activities carried out through your account.

You must not create an account for another person without appropriate permission.

We may suspend or restrict accounts involved in abuse, fraud, security violations, or serious breaches of these Terms.

The AI Tutor can make mistakes, including:

  • incorrect calculations;
  • incorrect explanations;
  • incomplete answers;
  • misleading statements;
  • incorrect interpretations of questions;
  • inappropriate recommendations.

AI-generated information should therefore be treated as educational assistance rather than an unquestionable authority.

For important academic matters, users should verify information using reliable educational materials, teachers, official examination materials, textbooks, or other authoritative sources.

Corevia does not guarantee that AI-generated content is error-free.

7. Academic Integrity

Corevia is intended to support legitimate learning.

Corevia may analyse information about how users interact with the platform in order to provide educational functionality.

This may include:

  • topics where a user appears to struggle;
  • learning progress;
  • practice history;
  • use of the AI Tutor;
  • interactions with personalised recommendations.

This information may be used to provide features such as personalised practice, weak-topic analysis, learning-progress visualisations, and recommendations.

Additional information about personal-data processing is provided in the Corevia Privacy Policy and Student & Parent Privacy Notice.

9. User Content

Users may be able to upload or submit content, including:

  • notes;
  • questions;
  • documents;
  • study materials;
  • text;
  • images;
  • prompts;
  • other educational content.

You retain ownership of content you lawfully own.

By submitting content to Corevia, you grant Corevia the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, analyse, and use that content to provide the requested services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights or permission to submit the content.

You must not upload material that unlawfully infringes another person's copyright, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights.

10. Intellectual Property

Corevia's original software, interface, branding, design, logos, written materials, graphics, databases, and other original content are owned by or licensed to the creators and operators of Corevia unless otherwise stated.

You may use Corevia for its intended educational purposes.

You must not, without permission:

  • copy or reproduce Corevia's proprietary software;
  • sell or redistribute Corevia content;
  • reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law;
  • scrape large amounts of Corevia content;
  • reproduce Corevia's branding in a misleading manner;
  • create a competing service by systematically copying Corevia's proprietary content or functionality.

Third-party educational materials remain subject to their respective ownership and licensing arrangements.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use Corevia for unlawful purposes;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems;

  • upload unlawful or harmful material;
  • attempt to bypass access controls or usage restrictions.

Nothing in this section prevents legitimate security research that has been expressly authorised by Corevia.

12. Paid Services

Corevia may offer paid products, subscriptions, access codes, premium features, or other paid services.

Before completing a purchase, users will be shown the applicable price and relevant purchasing terms where reasonably possible.

Prices may change for future purchases.

Unless otherwise stated, changes in pricing will not retroactively alter a purchase that has already been completed.

Paid services may be subject to the Corevia Refund & Cancellation Policy.

13. Third-Party Services

Corevia may rely on third-party providers for services such as:

  • hosting;
  • databases;
  • authentication;
  • analytics;
  • payment processing;
  • AI services;
  • email;
  • security;
  • infrastructure.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Corevia is not responsible for independent failures of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

14. Availability

We aim to keep Corevia available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • infrastructure problems;
  • security incidents;
  • internet or telecommunications failures;
  • third-party service outages;
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15. Privacy

Your use of Corevia is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what information Corevia collects, why it is collected, how it may be used, how it may be shared, and what rights users may have.

Where reasonably possible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the violation.

Users may stop using Corevia at any time.

Account deletion does not necessarily mean that every piece of information can be immediately erased where retention is required by law, necessary for security, or otherwise permitted under the Privacy Policy.

17. Disclaimers

Corevia is provided for educational purposes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Corevia is provided without guarantees that:

  • the service will always be available;
  • information will always be accurate;
  • AI responses will always be correct;
  • educational recommendations will always be suitable;
  • the service will meet every user's particular expectations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes legal rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corevia and its creators and operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Corevia develops or as legal requirements change.

When significant changes are made, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate notice.

The updated Terms will apply from the stated effective date.
